Impact.

I was transformed during the six years I served in prion. As I woke up to the reality around me, I realized something was terribly wrong with the system. I realized that the criminal legal system isn’t designed to heal communities, it is infatuated with punishment. That’s why I decided to dedicate my life to human rights, focusing on the intersection of LGBTQ and criminal legal issues.
